The Women’s Cell was inaugurated on Saturday, 11th July 2026 with a mass presided over by the Parish Priest, Rev. Fr. Nelson Sequeira. Twenty-five women took their oath of commitment, marking the official installation.

The core committee of the Stella Maris Parish Women’s Cell comprises:

Treasurer: Mrs. Liza Parsekar
Spiritual Advisor: Gina Daga

At present it has 27 dedicated members who reach out to help, counsel and empower women in need. The cell meets on the 3rd Wednesday of each month in the church hall at 6:00 p.m.
