Stella Maris Parish offers this website as a place of connection, information, and encouragement for our parishioners wherever they may live. It is not a substitute for personal contacts and the living bonds of parish life, but a support for them—especially in the digital environment that shapes how we communicate and learn.
As our parish name suggests, Stella Maris— “Star of the Sea”—points us to the right direction, especially in difficult times, helping us “arrive at the port” of a life guided by Mary, Mother of Christ.
In keeping with the Church’s call, this website is meant primarily to share and clarify parish information (times, announcements, resources, and guidance), so that parishioners can stay connected wherever they are. At the same time, we encourage a responsible way of receiving and using information: we seek to promote a “human ecology of communication” in which truth is treated as a common good, personal data are protected, and families and schools receive formation in the proper and critical use of digital tools and AI. The digital world is also a “new continent” to be evangelized: may this site help us encounter Christ more fully and live the Gospel with responsibility, truth, and charity.
